AI & Fitness Estimates Disclaimer

Important non-medical safety disclosures, algorithmic limitations, and legal terms regarding AI-assisted training, Recovery Scores, and nutritional estimates in FitOS.

Section 1

1. Not Medical or Healthcare Advice

FitOS is a software platform designed for athletic gym management and personal workout tracking. FitOS is NOT a medical organization, medical device, clinical diagnostic service, or healthcare provider.

No content, algorithmic output, suggested exercise routine, or nutritional target generated by FitOS should be construed as medical advice, clinical diagnosis, prescription, or treatment.

Section 2

2. Mandatory Physician Consultation

You must consult a certified physician or healthcare professional prior to initiating any new exercise regimen, strength training program, heavy lifting protocol, or dietary modification.

Medical clearance is especially vital if you have a history of cardiovascular conditions, hypertension, joint injuries, spinal disc pathology, metabolic disorders, or pregnancy.

Section 3

3. Nature of the Recovery & Readiness Score

The FitOS "Recovery Score" and "Readiness Badge" are algorithmic approximations computed from user-entered mathematical inputs (e.g. recorded sets, reps, estimated volume load, and rest elapsed between workouts).

These scores DO NOT measure biological vitals such as electrocardiogram (ECG), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate variability (HRV), hormonal fatigue, or physiological biomarkers. They are mathematical approximations only.

Section 4

4. No Guarantee of Injury Prevention

A high Recovery Score or "Ready to Train" badge does NOT ensure that you are immune to acute athletic injury, muscular tears, tendonitis, or overtraining syndrome.

Users must rely on physical bodily sensations, proper form, and professional coaching rather than digital scores.

Section 5

5. Food Scanner & Nutritional Estimates

Caloric calculations, macronutrient breakdowns (protein, carbohydrates, fats), and portion estimates provided through the food scanner or meal database are mathematical approximations.

Actual nutritional content varies significantly depending on specific ingredients, oil usage, preparation techniques, cooking time, and brand sourcing.

Section 6

6. Food Allergens & Dietary Restrictions

FitOS does not verify the allergen safety of foods scanned or logged. If you suffer from severe food allergies (e.g. nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish), you must independently verify food ingredient labels.

Section 7

7. AI-Generated Workout Routines

When you use AI assistants to generate workout splits or exercise ideas, the recommendations are created by machine learning models trained on general athletic datasets.

These routines may not account for your specific anatomical proportions, mobility limitations, previous injuries, or equipment variations at your gym.

Section 8

8. AI Limitations & Potential Inaccuracies

Large language models and artificial intelligence systems can occasionally produce inaccurate, misleading, or illogical statements ("hallucinations"). FitOS makes no warranty regarding the infallibility of AI outputs.

Section 9

9. Certified Personal Trainer Responsibility

Certified fitness trainers and gym coaches using FitOS are independently responsible for evaluating their clients, inspecting exercise technique, and adapting workouts to client safety requirements.

Section 10

10. Voluntary Assumption of Exercise Risk

Physical exercise, weight lifting, and cardiovascular exertion carry inherent risks of bodily injury, cardiovascular distress, and physical harm. By engaging in physical activity tracked through FitOS, you voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks.

Section 11

11. Duty to Cease Exercise upon Discomfort

If you experience acute pain, lightheadedness, nausea, shortness of breath, joint clicking, or severe fatigue during training, you must immediately stop exercising and seek medical evaluation.

Section 12

12. No Emergency Services or Real-Time Monitoring

FitOS does not monitor health status in real time and does not dispatch emergency response services. In any medical emergency, call your local national emergency services (e.g. 112 in India) immediately.

Section 13

13. Caloric Tracking & Healthy Relationship with Food

Caloric and macro tracking tools are intended solely for fitness goal management. If you have a history of eating disorders or disordered eating habits, consult a registered dietitian or mental health professional before tracking intake.

Section 14

14. Age Warnings & High-Intensity Protocols

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) and maximal load 1RM testing should not be attempted by minors without certified adult supervision.

Section 15

15. Non-Clinical Biometric Devices

Data synced from consumer smartwatches or heart rate straps is non-clinical and meant solely for general recreational reference.

Section 16

16. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, you release and hold harmless [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], its directors, engineers, and trainers from any injury, loss, or damage arising from reliance on algorithmic or AI suggestions.

Section 17

17. Updates to Algorithmic Disclaimers

We may update this safety disclaimer as new artificial intelligence features, sensors, and machine learning models are added to FitOS.

Section 18
